Family Photo Fundraiser on 10/4 and 11/9
Dear Seahawk community:
We've been working hard to put together a proposed budget for this school year. As you may know, the PTA plays an integral part in funding the enrichments, experiences, and staff support at Seawell that students & families depend on. As a non-profit, this money is raised solely through generous donations, employer matching gifts, and grants.
The proposed budget is below. Please review and reach out with any questions by emailing the PTA at info@seawellpta.com. The budget needs to be approved by a vote at the general membership meeting that will take place during Curriculum Night on September 25th, Thursday 6:15-6:45 in the cafeteria. Please make every effort to attend, especially if you're a member with voting rights. Become a member.
Why does this matter?
With the desire to be transparent and clear, it's important to inform interested parties that our current budget is in the red (showing a deficit). Given the declining trends of donations over the last few years and increased costs, our current rate of spending may be unsustainable.
What can I do?
