Thank You Notes from Seawell Staff!
Any parent or guardian can sign up to be a Room Parent (don't use this form after September 16th as your submission may go unnoticed) to help ensure a successful and fun year! Room Parents are an important part of our school community because they:
CONNECT WITH TEACHERS
CONNECT WITH FELLOW PARENTS
SUPPORT THE CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE
CELEBRATE & APPRECIATE
The main job of a Room Parent is to let your child’s teachers know you are there to support them and to have an open line of communication. Different teachers will want different things! That said, Room Parents receive specific instructions and a training session to make the role super clear and easy.
Here's an overview of on-boarding to the Room Parent network and what light duties you might expect as Room Parent:
Sign-up via the form below.
Attend one virtual informational Zoom hosted by the Coordinator on September 16th at 6:15pm.
Reach out to your teacher for a meeting to introduce yourself and see how you can help.
Periodically receive emails from the Coordinator (about PTA activities) to share with your parent group.
Help with light organization of parent participation for teacher-driven activities.
Provide your parent group with reminders about teacher birthdays.
